Delivery Estimates

Zoom75 x Akuamarin items are expected to finish manufacturing in July, 2024

All items in this group buy will be imported from China into Canada via two separate shipping methods:

Ocean Freight

Arrives to Canada via a ship. Takes 45-60 days in transit. This is the standard import method used in most keyboard / deskmat group buys. It's much cheaper than Air Express but takes longer to arrive.

All units ordered via Ocean Freight are scheduled to ship out of Meletrix around July, 2024 and should arrive at Mech.land around Late August / Early September, 2024

Air Express

Arrives to Canada via a cargo airplane, takes 7-15 days in transit. This import method is very expensive, as such some of the items brought over via Air Express have a markup added to cover the extra expenses

All units ordered via Air Express are scheduled to ship out of Meletrix around July, 2024 and should arrive at Mech.land 7-15 days later, sometime in July, 2024

IMPORTANT

You cannot combine Ocean Freight and Air Express items in the same order. Each individual order has to contain either all Ocean Freight or all Air Express items. This is because they arrive at different times

Please keep in mind the ETA is just our best guess according to the information currently available to us. Unexpected issues and delays can happen at every stage of the process.

Magnetic switches

Activation of a key in a traditional mechanical keyboards requires pressing the switch and reaching the actuation point.

In contrast, magnetic switches operate through a bottom Hall sensor and an upper magnet. When a key is pressed, changes in the distance within the sensing magnetic field lead to a fluctuation in current. Activation is determined by evaluating the strength of the induced current.

Adjustable activation point

Since activation is registered by comparing the strength of the induced current to a set value, this value can be changed in the app to adjust the actuation point in real time.

Adjustable activation point for each switch from 0.1mm to 4.0mm in 0.1mm steps

You can register keypresses far quicker than what is physically allowed in traditional mechanical switches.

Rapid Trigger

Utilizing the unique traits of magnetic switches, key activation and reset are determined by the distance traveled rather than fixed points. This precision enables keys to activate upon pressing and reset upon release, facilitating seamless consecutive key presses. This capability empowers you to swiftly execute a series of actions during gaming.

Gasket mount

Zoom75 uses a gasket isolation mount structure for a soft, bouncy and pleasant typefeel that won't fatigue your fingers even after hours of typing. Gasket mount keyboards sound better and feel more even throughout the board than the typical off-the-rack tray mount keyboards.

Multi-layout

Unlike traditional keyboards, you are not stuck with just one layout on Zoo75! Change things up every now and then with split backspace, left shift and spacebar! You can also switch between normal and stepped caps lock or ANSI.

Per-key RGB

Hot-swap Switches

Both wired and Tri-Mode Zoom75 PCBs feature Kailh Hot Swap sockets that allow you to just push the switches on, no soldering required! Changing switches is a breeze, you can go from linear to tactile in a matter of minutes, all on the same keyboard!

Gasket Sleeves

The gasket sleeves are made of supercritical foam, it can stabilize the plate as the same time giving appropriate space allowing it to flex in a balanced way. Just the right softness, not too stiff, not too much flex.

Plate variety

Plates in other materials, such as brass, aluminum and FR4, can be sold as add-on accessories, and they dramatically change the feel and sound of the keyboard

WS Stabilizers V3.1

An updated version of the V3 stabilizers. The V3 new stabilizers were under development for almost one year, and will be included with the Zoom75 x Akuamarin

Keycaps Features

Wuque Studio, Mech.land and many others across the world have spent 18 months debating over even the most minute details on a double-shot PBT mould. The goal was to fix and improve upon the slight imperfections seen in the popular double-shot keycaps in the market and this goal was achieved in 2022.

Akuamarin is the first ABS keycap set using the double-shot mould.

If you've purchased Zoom75 keycaps, WS Kraken, WS Orchid Strings, WS Stellar, WS Basic Red, WS Basic Yellow then you're familiar with the quality of WS Double-shot keycaps.
