In early May, the United States excluded products of Chinese origin from duty free entry to the country, even if they're shipped from another country like Canada. All such products are subject to an ever changing amount of import tariff, with some exceptions.
Tariff
For now, we're covering the full tariff for all in-stock orders. In the near future we'll implement a system to collect a portion of the tariff from the customer during checkout.
We'll cover the tariff on all group buy orders placed to date with the exception of Zoom TKL Dyna. We may invoice you for a portion of the tariff for Dyna orders if the tariffs are still in place when they're ready to ship.
Latest Updates
06/14/25 - Packages are moving within the delivery estimates below
Current delivery estimates
06/14/25 - Currently, it's taking about 3 business days for Stallion to process and transport a package to USPS. That's when the status changes to "Tendered to USPS". It takes about another 3 business days for USPS to scan the package in.
So you can expect about 5-6 business days between the moment we drop the package off and the time you see a delivery ETA on USPS tracking page.
As Stallion and USPS clear their backlogs and become more adjusted to the new workflow, we expect this processing time to shorten over the coming weeks. Before the tariff, this entire process used to take 1-2 business days.
Purolator / UPS Shipments
Purolator / UPS shipments to USA are currently suspended. We'll upgrade / sidegrade your orders to similar USPS counterparts
What's causing the delay
Our shipping partner for USPS labels require all of our products to be checked and approved by a customs broker. All of the products must be labeled with the correct country of origin. We generally ship every in-stock order within 1 business day, but US bound orders may take another business day during busy periods.
Our shipping partner is opening packages in random to make sure they're compliant with the new regulations. US customs is doing the same. This is why it's taking a few days for the packages to process out of our shipping partner and clear customs.
USPS origin facility in New York is experiencing a backlog. Once our shipping partner drops a package off to USPS, it takes several days for them to scan and process it.
How can I stay up to date?
You'll receive a tracking number when your order is about to ship. The tracking number links to Stallion Express tracking site where you'll see detailed updates up until USPS scans it in.
Please check for updates directly on USPS site once you see the tracking update "Tendered to USPS"
When will things go back to normal?
This new policy change had everyone scrambling to adapt and be compliant with the new set of rules set by the US. This disruptive change has negatively impacted everyone's workflow, as such things are moving slower than usual.
As Stallion and USPS clear their backlogs and become more adjusted to the new workflow, we expect this processing time to shorten over the coming weeks. Before the tariff, this entire process used to take 1-2 business days.
