A limited number of extras from the Ocean Freight shipment are available as pre-orders on this page.

The DEtails

Following up on the popular Krakenkap Trio series, KrakenKap is back with a new set of deskmats that lean even harder into the classic 1930s "rubber hose" animation style. This design features a full-blown theatrical scene, featuring an angelic knight and a devious hound squared off on a spotlighted stage.

The puppet-master narrative and the "audience" of ghouls in the background reveal new details the longer you look at it.

You can combine your Monotype GB order with Child’s Play GB order to save on shipping costs. Please see below for more details.

Delivery Estimates

Title

Ocean Freight

Arrives to Canada via a ship. Takes 45-60 days in transit. This is the standard import method used in most keyboard / deskmat group buys. It's much cheaper than Air Express but takes longer to arrive.

All units ordered via Ocean Freight are scheduled to ship out of the factory around late May, 2026 and should arrive to us sometime around late July, 2026

Air Express

Arrives to Canada via a cargo airplane, takes 7-18 days in transit. This import method is very expensive, as such some of the items brought over via Air Express have a markup added to cover the extra expenses

All units ordered via Ocean Freight are scheduled to ship out of the factory around late May, 2026 and should arrive to us sometime around early June, 2026

IMPORTANT

You cannot combine Ocean Freight and Air Express items in the same order. Each individual order has to contain either all Ocean Freight or all Air Express items. This is because they arrive at different times

Please keep in mind the ETA is just our best guess according to the information currently available to us. Unexpected issues and delays can happen at every stage of the process.

GB / Pre-order Policies

Title

Combinations

You cannot add any in-stock items to your order as we cannot guarantee its availability when the group buy is ready to ship.

You can combine your Monotype Deskmats GB order with Child’s Play GB order to save on shipping costs. Simply place separate orders for each and pay the shipping fees upfront. Please make sure they both have the same import method (Air Express or Ocean Freight). Once you have placed both, email us at help@mech.land and we will combine the shipments and refund the difference

Modifications

You may modify your order until May 12, 2026

Please send an email to help@mech.land from the email address associated with your order and list the changes you'd like to see made.

Cancellations

You may cancel your order and get a refund until May 12, 2026

Please keep in mind we may keep up to 5% of the total from the refund as we do not get the transaction fees back from our payment processor.
