Processing delays at shipping provider
It's peak holiday season and Stallion Express, our third party shipping provider for Courier Economy (Uniuni, Fleet Optics) & USPS shipments is facing processing delays due to an increase in the volume of shipments. They're experiencing higher than usual amount of holiday shipments since Canada Post is not operating.
Normally, it takes a few hours for the tracking page to update after we drop off a shipment. In the last week it's taking 1-3 days on average before the tracking page shows an update.
Because of the ongoing strike, all Canada Post Expedited and Xpresspost shipments will be upgraded to Purolator and UPS counterparts. Those services are not affected by any processing or transit delay, so far.
