Reimagined

A piece of paper, folded into the horizon of your imagination.

Three years after the debut of the PAPER series, we return to the 65% form factor. This time, we revisited the paper plane's visual language—asking ourselves: how do we preserve the signature lightness and floating sensation in a more compact body.

Our answer: not to replicate, but to reconstruct.

Moving away from the large backplate and curved waistline of its predecessor, we deconstructed the imagery of a paper plane. We reimagined it into every detail: the folded lines on the sides, the triangular facets on the bottom, and the ambient lighting hidden within the shadows. The result is a 65% that still carries the soul of PAPER.

- Whatever Studio

Signature V-Profile

The bottom housing features precise cuts that create a floating look, paired with V-shaped light strips along the angled edges. These "afterburner" lights add a sense of motion and energy to the keyboard's signature silhouette.

Soft Underglow

Light inserts integrated into the case's triangular facets to cast a soft, harmonic glow onto your desk.

Strip Indicator Light

Set within a long, recessed frame, this light glows with a sleek, simple pulse when lit

Accents

A mirror-polished stainless steel inlay above the backspace provides a nice visual contrast with the rest of the case. Three small indicator lights are placed to the left of it to let you know when the caps, scroll or the numlock keys are activated.

The Badge

The front bezel features the signature paper plane badge that serves as an icon and yet another indicator light. The fully customizable RGB badge still looks fantastic when turned off, thanks to the light diffusing acrylic and resin filled border.

The 128 x 128px screen at the top right corner can display keypress values, images, gifs and real-time connection status

Blind Box

Each kit features a pre-configured combination of case color, weight color, and design. While specific components cannot be selected or requested, these pairings are curated by the designer rather than randomly assembled.

Your combination will remain a mystery until delivery. Available configurations are based on the following factors:

Two primary case colors

Mint Green as shown is one, and the other will remain undisclosed until delivery. Both of these colors are only available through Blind Box.

Unique weight

The design of the bottom weight will be similar to the one shown in the photos and videos, but not identical. This design is also only available through the Blind Box.

The PAPER 65 is designed to support both Bottom Mount and Gasket Mount configurations — giving you the freedom to choose your preferred typing feel.

At the heart of this flexibility is our newly developed bushing-style Bottom Mount system. Featuring precision-engineered acrylic bushings, it works like the hard rubber chassis reinforcements in performance cars: preserving structural rigidity while effectively isolating micro-vibrations from the plate during typing.

The result? Cleaner, purer acoustics — a noticeable step up from traditional top-mount designs.

Matte PVD

A smooth, velvety texture that's subtle and fingerprint-resistant. Perfect for an understated, elegant look

Mirror PVD

A striking, glass-like reflection achieved through extra polishing steps. It brings out the depth of the stainless steel and adds a premium contrast to the board.

GB Information

Group buy runs from March 31, 2026 to April 14, 2026

Estimated to finish production in July, 2026. Delivery to you depends on the import method of your choice.

Delivery Estimates

Title

Ocean Freight

Arrives to Canada via a ship. Takes 45-60 days in transit. This is the standard import method used in most keyboard / deskmat group buys. It's much cheaper than Air Express but takes longer to arrive.

All units ordered via Ocean Freight are scheduled to ship out of China around July, 2026 and should arrive to us around September, 2026

Air Express

Arrives to Canada via a cargo airplane, takes 7-14 days in transit. This import method is very expensive, as such some of the items brought over via Air Express have a markup added to cover the extra expenses

All units ordered via Air Express are scheduled to ship out of China around July, 2026 and should arrive to us 7 to 14 days later.

IMPORTANT

You cannot combine Ocean Freight and Air Express items in the same order. Each individual order has to contain either all Ocean Freight or all Air Express items. This is because they arrive at different times

Please keep in mind the ETA is just our best guess according to the information currently available to us. Unexpected issues and delays can happen at every stage of the process.

Combinations

You cannot add any in-stock items to your order as we cannot guarantee its availability when the group buy is ready to ship.

If you're subscribed to our email list, you'll get an email before your group buy is ready to ship. In that email there will be instructions on how to add in-stock items to your group buy order and have them all ship together to save on shipping fees.

Modifications

You may modify your order until April 14, 2026

Please send an email to help@mech.land from the email address associated with your order and list the changes you'd like to see made.

Cancellations

You may cancel your order and get a refund until April 14, 2025

Please keep in mind we may keep 5% of the total from the refund as we do not get the transaction fees back from our payment processor. We may apply an additional penalty of up to 20% of the total if you choose to cancel after group buy is over.
